Everyday in our life, we are interacting with various situations that also bring us complicated conditions….and just like the quote above, may we always have the ability to say our thanksgiving to Him for all the happy events in our life. On the other hand, let us also ask Him to bring us strength so that on moments of trials, we can learn how to cope with them.
And for everything in our life, may we learn just to say, THANK YOU, o LORD for everything that you have showered me in life.
Actually this is also the title of my other blog which focuses on human interests and daily inspirations. A gift is something we receive and grateful for. Personally, I would say that any gift is meant not just for my own satisfaction yet it also needs to be shared with others. That’s exactly how I find meaning on every gift that I received. On the other hand, it does not really literally mean that I will share this one gift with others but somehow, even my way of accepting this one- the happiness of accepting it…this should also be radiated to others.
Nowadays, we could easily notice two realities in life- good and bad. So many good things are happening every now and then but, if we keep a keen eye and ear to our surroundings, then we realise that the world is so wounded that many people especially the old and children alike- are hurt by their situations and conditions.
Just heard from the news today that there were several dead people in a certain country resulting from a shooting there. What painful that could be for these victims’ families to realise that due to foolish reasons, they are now gone.
Thus, in spite of all these hurting events, we should always be grateful to all the beautiful gifts we receive every single day. May we also allow others to cherish from us the positive effects of these gifts in our life.
The still recent joyous celebration that we have regarding the triumph made by Jesus over our sins will always serve as our inspiration to do good. This is a triumph over our own weaknesses and we are constantly reminded that if we surrender everything to GOD, everything else will follow not according to our own wanting but according to His own design for each one of us.
We are mere borrower of this life therefore we are also challenged to make the best of what we can do to it. Weaknesses will make this journey not only a difficult one but also a remarkable trip. Although we trek various roads and different from one to the other yet at the end of the road, we will all be judged according to the methods and techniques how then we arrive to this journey’s end destination. On the other hand, we will not be chosen due to what we have collected like properties, money etc but somehow, we are seen as worthy addition to His kingdom by the good deeds while on earth.
Let us not waste what Jesus had sacrificed for us but rather, let us make it more meaningful and festive by constantly performing acts that will lift up our personal relationship with Him and with others.
