Learn To Stay Positive Each Single Day

 Brighton Beach

As we are nearing to the end of this week, perhaps becomes obvious to us that we have plenty of experiences and memories within the week. Some may be unpleasant and others are too excellent that they will always remain in our hearts for they also give us wisdom and growth.

Moreover, this is beneficial for us to learn how to appreciate each day that comes our way. May it be a pleasant one or the other way around BUT somehow, if we reflect on it, there would always be lessons that we can learn from them.

Thus, may we learn to express gratitude to all those memories and pay them forward by doing good things to others so that in our own little way, we could also share sunshine to others.

Cheer Up....Everyday

In the midst of all these life’s trials, always find a positive stroke to it. After all, not at all in life is bad or dark, instead there is always that side that brings positive aspect to our life. Always remember that there is always two sides of a coin.

If we look back on the experience of the disciples, they were put into the test when they tried to follow Jesus. But somehow, aided by their strong belief in Jesus and their faith in themselves, they hurdled all those trials and emerged triumphant over them.

We are also called to do the same. After each rain, the sun will come out and brings colours to our life. When we are troubled by our everyday crosses such as relationship conflicts, financial burdens, material deprivations, emotional draught etc., constantly look on the other side of life and in  there, you will find comfort.

Somehow, it is true that it will do us no good if we keep on comparing ourselves with  others yet if we give a closer look at this life’s reality, we can still consider ourselves as more fortunate to others. Thus, come out of your shell and celebrate each single day with a smile in your face.

On Simplicity

Simplicity is a mere single word yet for some it is a difficult thing to do. However if we look back to the life of the apostles, they exemplified to us how to live a simple life. What ought then to be realised that in life, what count the most is how we live our life each day.

If we then are able to extend ourselves to others even in simple ways such as greeting them a simple hello and hi to brighten their day plus other means of simple yet meaningful ways to share a smile perhaps on their gloomy faces and that exactly is what counts most on this earth.

Further, let us be generous in our smile to others….a simple life live in all honesty is more than what is expected from us…rather than keeping a complicated lifestyle with all the modern complexities that befall our humanity nowadays.

Faith In God

 Enjoying Nature and Life

While observing the Good Friday occasion this day, we watched a film entitled “David and Goliath” and it tells us the story of the giant and fearless Philistine warrior. He is always at the forefront of the Philistine force then comes the character of the young lad named David who puts all his trust in God and decides later to face the challenges of the former.

David, being a shepherd, is indeed an obedient son to his father yet time comes when he could no longer endures the inhuman and barbaric treatment of Goliath to his fellow brothers and sisters that he entrusts everything to God and decides to fight the giant Goliath.

At the end, due to David’s total trust to God and on himself, he is triumphant in his fight against the ruthless Goliath. Thus, the deed of David who puts all his trust in God to face the gigantic Goliath gives us a concrete example of how faith can do to anybody. Somehow, there are plenty of trials in life that can also be likened to “Goliath”  like difficulties on relationships, financial problems, spiritual struggles, unfair treatment from others etc. but with a faith like that of David then nothing is impossible and everything will be alright.

May we  also possess in our hearts the kind of faith that David displays in his lifetime. Our faith in God can allow us to continue with our journey no matter how challenging the road may be.

Another Day of Opportunity

We are almost at the end of the day and as we look back on this day’s events and we then  discover that we are so lucky to have received plenty of blessings today. We should not forget  to count all our blessings each day.

In spite of all the trials and burdens we carry each day, the gains and other positive experiences outweigh them at the end of the day. Though we may not and never be perfect yet we are so blessed by wonderful things being unfolded to us everyday.

On the other hand, we are equip with varying tools (skills, talents, resources etc) to survive each single day. Despite the reality that we are unequal on these resources but somehow, the very positive thing for us to consider is the actuality  that we are lucky enough to receive them in our life.

Finally, may we count each single day as an avenue for us to gain further development on ourselves and on our relationships with others. Never regret any experience that come your way but instead, look back to it afterwards and think on whatever way then it becomes a tool of growth for you.
